Over the next few months I intend to develop a series of resources on this page.  As an Occupational Therapist (OT) working in mental health, much of my expertise is in the health field, so undoubtedly this will flavour some of the initial resources.  However as an OT my expertise is in occupation, so the things we do in every day life, what prevents us from completing the activities we want to do and how we can arrange our life, given our unique personalities and skills to achieve the things we want to or change the life we lead.

So I guess the question is “why leave this page here resourceless?”

And the answer is very much a personal one.  Its’ about my own personal volition and keeping this element of the project in the forefront of my mind. I don’t like to leave public things unfinished, so to a degree I am deliberately causing myself to feel uncomfortable to remind myself to develop this area of my life. To challenge myself out of inertia.

Testimonials

Julie’s style is gentle but she keeps you to the promises you make to yourself… I would commend her work and have already recommended her to two friends who I feel would benefit from the skills she has to offer.  I would wholeheartedly recommend her style of coaching to anyone who feels stuck in a rut or who has lingered over potentially life – changing decisions. – Sarah R
